| Giáo dục cùng những thiết chế xã hội khác trong cơ cấu xã hội có vai trò quan trọng trong sự cấu thành xã hội và là động lực của sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của các quốc gia trong các thời kỳ. Giáo dục Việt Nam đang đối mặt với các thách thức trên nhiều phương diện: quy mô, chất lượng, định hướng phát triển, triết lý giáo dục,… Một trong những vấn đề cấp thiết của giáo dục Việt Nam hiện nay là sự bất bình đẳng xã hội trong giáo dục phổ thông. Với phương pháp định lượng, chúng tôi phân tích sự bất bình đẳng xã hội trong giáo dục phổ thông Việt Nam trên các phương diện: giới, thành phần dân tộc, vùng kinh tế - xã hội, thành thị/ nông thôn và tình trạng kinh tế - xã hội của các hộ gia đình. |

| Abstract: |
| Education and other institutions in social structure play important roles in the constitution of society and motivate the social-economic development of many countries through periods of time. Vietnamese Education is confronting challenges in a variety of aspects such as scale, quality, development, educational philosophy, etc. One of the pressing problems of education which Vietnam now should take into account is social inequality in the general education system. In this research, we analyzed those social inequalities by means of quantitative method in terms of: gender, ethnic composition, socio-economic regions, urban / rural and status of the household socio-economy. This analysis is a basis for the proposed policy makers towards equality in society and in Vietnamese education. |
